A Smarter Workout

If you're looking for a smarter workout, in less time, away from the crowds you'll find it here. To enhance and guide your fitness routine, The Body Architect offers personal training sessions available at individual and group rates.

A typical personal training session includes components of balance, strength, flexibility and cardio, and draws on elements of time honored techniques such as Pilates, yoga and qi gong. Nutritional awareness is also essential and we can discuss and offer guidance in an eating style conducive to meeting your fitness goals. Wellness counseling can provide further guidance, motivation, and focus.

Through the techniques taught by our trainers, you can learn to exercise with greater efficiency and make the most of your time - whether you have 15 minutes or an hour. More isn't necessarily better. Smarter is. We can customize an effective program that fits your schedule. It may be the solution that helps you commit to the regular routine that's been eluding you for years.

Private Personal Training

All of our fitness staff focus on functional training: exercises that enhance and support the activities you perform every day. Working your body in positions that simulate its natural tendencies will support you throughout your day through improved posture, alignment, and even greater mental clarity—no matter what your other fitness goals.
 

Group Personal Training

Group Personal Training is a great way to receive personalized guidance from one of The Body Architect's fitness professionals, while sharing motivation with friends and family, and defraying costs. You can choose to work out in groups of two, three, or four.
 

Psychophysical Movement

Stephen Anderson's training technique, psychophysical movement, will gradually establish self-correction and self-regulation of body mechanics, improve posture and mind-body interactions, release muscular tensions, and more. The routines developed by our fitness staff draw upon a variety of techniques, including Pilates, yoga, and qi gong.
 

Kettlebells 1 to 1

One-on-One Kettlebell Training with KB Master, Ryan Thomson

Kettlebells are widely known as "the handheld gym" and for good reason. Those who work out consistently with kellebells have experienced increased core strength, stamina, endurance, toning, and body fat loss - and the workout is 30 minutes or less! Go one-on-one with our very own KB Master, Ryan Thomson.

Wellness Counseling

A process based on the premise that total wellness hinges on a healthy spirit. By bringing the heart and soul into balance with the incessantly busy mind, the human spirit is nourished. We work with you to establish deeply desired intentions, and to move beyond old patterns that may be sabotaging your personal wellness potential. During your personal training sessions we guide you in the motivation and focus that is necessary to feel impassioned, and to follow through on those intentions.

Nutritional Awareness

Realizing that each person has a different metabolic rate and may have one or more food sensitivities, our trainers listen to your concerns and help guide you towards a way of eating that supports your physical activity level and your desired weight.
