February is for Fitness!
According to meteorological groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, we’re looking at six more weeks of winter. You might as well make the best of it at The Body Architect. Try something new—TRX Core training or Good Morning Sunshine— a metabolic wake-up call for early risers. Shake off the cold and move your body. We’ll have you feeling and looking your best by the time spring does arrive.

TRX Core Training Comes to the BA
Contrary to speculation, those odd-looking contraptions suspended from the BA rafters are not medieval torture devices. It’s the TRX suspension training system—one of the hottest and most effective core training methods around.
TRX suspension training eliminates the need for weights and cables—your body weight and gravity provide the resistance. It’s a full-body workout that combines functional strength, core stability and balance training all in one.
TRX was developed by a Navy Seal—U.S. Military personnel are among the system’s many fans. But you don’t have to be in fighting shape to use it. Performed properly suspension training is safe for all fitness levels.

Three Reasons to Exercise: Health, Happiness and a Longer Life
The next time you’re on the fence about coming into the gym, let these three simple truths be your motivation.
1. Exercise is one of the best defenses against illness. When you work out you ease symptoms of stress or depression, both of which lower immunity. Exercise also improves sleep, so necessary to maintain good health.
2. Exercise adds to the quality of your life.
Exercise has been proven to increase concentration, creativity and productivity. It may sound counterintuitive but making time to work out can actually help you accomplish more.
3. Mindful and regular exercise is the best anti-aging secret!
Regular exercise increases life expectancy and keeps you fit enough to enjoy it. Not only will regular workouts keep your energy levels up, exercise improves learning ability and memory.
Personal Training: Give Yourself a Valentine!
Personal Training: Give Yourself a Lift
Exercise is a no-brainer, right? But busy schedules create tough choices. An appointment with a personal trainer can keep you on track. Give yourself a mid-winter pick-me-up: a personal training session that’s all about YOU. The certified personal trainers at the BA will create a customized program, designed to ensure that you achieve your fitness goals at a pace that’s just right.
Personal training is so much more than working with a fitness coach to make sure your form is correct. When a trainer is standing by your side counting reps, you’ll challenge yourself that much harder to maximize every minute of your workout. At the end of a session, you feel great and you stand just a little taller.
Do you have an injury? Don’t sit on the sidelines. Injuries often benefit from gentle strengthening exercises. Our trainers can create a targeted program to bring you back to optimum health.
Whether you meet weekly, monthly or twice a year, working with a BA trainer can make a difference in the way you experience fitness. The Body Architect offers PT packages as well as the option of training with your spouse or a friend.
